If you are an individual, you will have to take credit counseling and financial management classes from third party providers. There are many options and price ranges from $10 – $80.

We make no apologies for attorney fees. Our fees are based upon a process that has been developed over years of bankruptcy law practice to assist you through pre-bankruptcy planning, preparation of paperwork, and representation through the process of the 341 Creditors’ Meeting. We take care of filing all of the paperwork with the bankruptcy court. We put your family or business needs above everything else. The means the process may be completed in a day or as long as it takes to protect your family.

The attorneys who advertise lower fees only do so because they believe it will compensate for their lack of experience. If you are so focused on fees, you may not notice nor expect personalized service. We understand the different types of property, debts, and impact of your recent activities. Going with a cut rate attorney may put your family at risk. This is not a risk worth taking.

Is There Such A Thing As $200 Bankruptcy Document Preparer

There are people or companies who say they can file bankruptcy for $200. As long as they are licensed by the State of Arizona, this is a legitimate option. The upside is that it is cheap, and your paperwork should be prepared correctly.

What is the downside of a document preparer? If you pay for a Mesa & Phoenix $200 bankruptcy document preparer, you get paperwork and paperwork alone. The document preparer cannot give advice, tell you how to plan or what to look out for in filing bankruptcy, warn you of potential problems, etc. Additionally, you will file your own documents and go to court alone. You may know what you want and you may believe you understand the consequences. If so, this may be a good option for you.

On the other hand, what if you don’t understand bankruptcy law? What if you don’t understand fraudulent transfers? What if you don’t understand the implications of the phrase “presumed abuse”? What if you don’t know what a Chapter 7 is, let alone how you qualify.

Bankruptcy is a complex area of law. Attorneys spend our professional lives determining what is and what is not proper given the facts at hand.

Consideration

When you consider attorney fees, consider more than cost. Consider the experience, care, thoroughness of the attorney.

Our fees are based upon complexity. If we were to quote one price for all cases, this would mean that some people would pay too much. When we quote fees, we go over the factors and explain the fees.

What all of this comes down to is risk management. Are you willing to put your life into the hands of someone who cannot give any advice or an attorney who cannot spend any time on your case to even know your potential issues?
